Thank you, Jennifer Epstein

It appears that Politico has taken note of Andy Barr's unprofessional behavior and has decided to reassign at least a part of their Palin coverage to Jennifer Epstein.

Her article, analyzing Palin's appearance on Greta Van Susteren, is a first-rate example of honest and ethical journalism. Note that, although it is a short article like Barr's, Epstein uses multi-sentence paragraphs. She gets to the heart of the matter quickly, accurately conveying Palin's decision-making process regarding the one question everybody is asking right now - will she run?

Like Barr's article, Epstein's contains several Palin quotes. But instead of selectively inserting quotation marks in order to take Palin out of context, she chooses quotes that address the topic at hand. Beyond that, Epstein resists the urge to editorialize, instead simply and accurately summarizing Palin's answer to the question:
In an interview with Fox News’s Greta Van Susteren on Thursday night, the former Alaska governor said she has the inner drive to run, though she hasn’t decided whether to launch a campaign.
That right there, my friends, is the difference between partisan hackery and honest reporting. Andy Barr could learn a thing or two.
